Terms of use

Mar Jewelry may collect information you provide directly to us on the Site, including your name and email address. All personal information is confidential and will not be sold or given to third parties.

All prices include VAT sales tax. VSK number is 143470.

Shipping inside Iceland is handled by Dropp ehf. International shipping is standard, aproximally €17. Mar jewelry is not responsible for any additional taxes or fees related to shipping.

In the last step of our checkout, customers with credit cards are transferred to Borgun secure site. By finalizing your payment you agree to Mar Jewelry’s terms and conditions. Borgun is an Icelandic acquiring company that handles all our credit card authorizations and transactions. We accept Visa, Visa electron, Mastercard and Maestro cards. All card transactions go through secure encryption payment gateway.  Costumers in Iceland can slo pay with Netgíró.

Shipment
All payed orders will be shipped within 1-4 business days. International shipping may receive a tracking number and may last from 7-30 days depending on location. Mar Jewelry is not responsible for any additional fees or costs upon receiving your item. If you would prefer express shipping please contact us for more information.

Returns

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. You must contact us via messages or mar@marjewelry.shop, and ship your item within this time frame. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. Anything purchased with a special code or discount is considered FINAL SALE and not returnable. Mar Jewelry is not responsible for charges for shipment of products for exchange or returns, and is not responsible for lost or damaged packages during shipment for exchange. 

Refunds 

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies. Any additional shipment charges may be deducted from your purchase amount, depending on agreement between Mar Jewelry and the costumer.

Damaged or incorrect items
If you receive a broken or damaged item we will gladly send you a new piece. You have 14 calender days to contact us and send back the incorrect order. If you prefer to exchange the broken item, you may only exchange for a piece of equal or lesser value than your original purchase. Mar Jewelry is not responsible for worn items, but we will look closely at each individual case.
